Installation

How to verify that everything is installed correctly before leaving your country?

You should be ready to go once you have purchased your first plan and installed your eSIM. 

To verify that you are eSIM works on iOS:

  1. Click "Settings" > "Mobile Data" or "Cellular".

  2. Turn on your StaffTraveler eSIM by toggling the switch at "Turn On This Line".

  3. Turn on the toggle behind "Data Roaming" on your StaffTraveler eSIM.

  4. Turn off your Wi-Fi.

  5. Click "Mobile Data" or "Cellular".

  6. Select StaffTraveler eSIM.

  7. De-select "Allow Mobile Data Switching".

  8. Try to use the internet. Note that the initial synchronization might take a few minutes.

You are now connected. To return to your primary SIM, simply set your Mobile Data to your own SIM and turn off the StaffTraveler eSIM.

 

To verify that you are eSIM works on Android:

  1. Click on "Settings" > "Mobile Data or Cellular".

  2. Tap "Mobile Data" or "Cellular".

  3. Activate your eSIM.

  4. Turn on "Data Roaming".

  5. Return to the page "Cellular" > "Mobile Data" or "Cellular".

  6. Make sure you select your eSIM.

  7. Turn off "Allow Cellular Data Exchange".

  8. Turn your Wi-Fi off and try to use the internet by turning on "Mobile Data" or "Cellular". Note that the initial synchronization might take a few minutes.
